Leading manufacturer of video cards AMD has updated one of its drivers to optimize the processes associated with mining.

According to the release published on Monday, one of the improvements to the Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.3.4 driver, released by the company, is aimed at making it possible to increase the efficiency of mining of crypto-currency.

Note that this is not the first time that the company’s work was related to improving the performance of graphics processors for the sake of miners. For example, the Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition Beta hardware, created specifically for blocking operations, was introduced by the manufacturer last August.

However, that product, according to its developers, was created as a basic one and did not provide for further updates and modifications. The uniqueness of the created drivers was that they were not intended for graphics and gaming tasks.
